Hello Foamie peeps, Alana from Red Tin Roof Designs here. I love giving gifts in a gift bag with a handmade card, but what if the bag and card is handmade all in one? I made three paper bags in one sitting and will use the back of the bags as a space for a special message. Since it’s still winter here in Canada, I decided on using my Artfoamies snowflakes design pack with blue and white combinations. With this project you can make as many bags with varying sizes as you want. Any fluid acrylic paint is great for using with Artfoamies stamps. I also used my Gel Press, brayer, some tissue paper and light white card stock. Place dots of blue and white paint on your Gel Press and roll it flat with the brayer. Lift some paint with the stamps and stamp on your bags and also some on white paper for cutting out later. Some of the bags can be placed on the Gel Press and pressed on the negative image that’s left behind. Remember, you can also make extra images on tissue paper for other projects. Play around and experiment, there’s no rules here. Splatter some paint on the bags and round it off with your own personal arty crafty style. Your bags are now ready for a thoughtful message on the back. Staple it, use ribbon or even a painted clothespin to close it in a pretty way. Enjoy making your bags.
Have fun till next time.
