Of course the ArtFoamies are perfect for journaling but wow, I was blown away at how easy and fun they were and instantly transform a page into a mixed media journal page. I love that I can use paint instead of ink for these kinds of projects and is what drew me to the stamps in the first place!
Check out this page I created using several different sets of stamps and lots of paint!
First, we prepare the surface with DecoArt Paint, Dimensional Effects Paste and some pen work. Creating a surface to stamp on.
Grab a few ArtFoamies stamps and your choice of paint.
Brayer the paint on the entire surface of the stamp.
Once you have good paint coverage on the stamp, turn it over onto the page where you want the image to appear.
Ink up a second stamp to use on the chipboard.
Paint the surface of the chipboard window with DecoArt Metallic Sheen. Then using the second stamp and a darker paint stamp right on the front surface.
Do the same on the chipboard dress form
What an amazing page it makes!
