Who doesn't love ATC's? Welcome back to another fun project with Artfoamies. This time I made a whole bunch of ATC's. I love working in series, I think it is a fun way to try out different design ideas. So let's dive in. I did start with the white card stock, the size is determinate by the amount of ATC's you want to make. An ATC size is 2,5 x 3,5 inch. I did apply the Distress ink in mustard seed directly to the script stamp. I did stamp over the whole page and also made sure that I turn the stamp. I'm more looking for an allover all texture, not concerned about the readability. Next I went in with the Distress ink in picked raspberry and the Gone Dotty stamp. Again making sure to cover up the whole page. I then went in with the Distress ink in twisted citron and the Flowery Tree stamp. For my next step I made sure that the ink is really dry by using a heat tool. I then used the Distress Ink in mermaid lagoon and a foam tool to fill in the white parts. I simply went over all the page also over the already stamped parts. And that is what the page looks like after all that stamping and coloring. The next step is to cut to the right size. I usually cut them 2 and 3/8 of inch by 3 and 3/8 inch. I just love to stack them to a piece of black or craft color in the right size. It just gives that finished look for me. But that is personal preference. To mount the background I use either tape or glue, both work well. I also like to add an additional border with a black marker. The faux stitching is my all time favorite doodling. For the metal dragonflies I use a glue that is meant for metal. The words I have printed on my computer. I also added some plastic rhinestones, just because.... And voilà here you have 9 slightly different ATC's for the next swap Supplies Card stock white black and craft colored, Distress Ink in several colors https://www.artfoamies.com/store/p288/Balzer_Designs%3A_Flowery_Tree.html Thanks for stopping by!
