Hi ArtFoamie Fans!! Lynne here with my latest ArtFoamies creation, Bag Tags.
The holidays are quickly approaching along with a holiday bazaar I am attending. So, I thought I’d get a jump on creating a few “Bag Tags”.
Now the BONUS, I had been wanting to play with my new Distress Oxides. But, I had a slight problem, I didn’t have any “green” in my stash, but I did have Distress Oxide colors Fossilized Amber and Salty Ocean. I rubbed the two colors onto my craft mat, spritz them with water and voila, when combined they created a BEAUTIFUL green.
I dipped my ArtFoamies ~ Triangle Square stamp into the new color and began stamping onto a piece of Ivory Cardstock.
I LOVED the new color.
I cleaned off my kraft mat and heat set the stamped images. Then I rubbed Fired Brick ~ Distress Oxides onto my kraft mat and spritz with water
I dipped the Triangle Square ArtFoamie into the color and then stamped onto my Ivory Cardstock. JUST BEAUTIFUL!
When the ink was dry, I grabbed a tube of Mixed Media Adhesive and drew squiggles over the stamped images and sprinkled on a bit of Mica Flakes. When dry, I spritzed the entire piece of cardstock with Glimmer Mist ~ Precious Metals.
When everything was day, I cut my cardstock into squares. Then, I die cut the squares with the Carved Ornaments Die, cutting the larger ornament.
When I was finished cutting the ornaments, I gathered up the excess cut pieces parts from the smaller ornament and decided to add vintage laces to them. Then I adhered them to my large ornament. When dry, I then antiqued the edges of my new ornament with Vintage Photo ~ Distress Oxide.
To finish of my “Bag Tags” I die cut tags from Kraft Flute. I then ran Iced Spruce ~ Distress Oxide over the tags, spritzed with water. Finishing off the tags with edges inked with Vintage Photo ~ Distress Ink.
I adhered the ornaments to the tags and added Vintage lace and cording to complete the whole look!
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope I’ve inspired you to get Creative!!!
