The best thing about foam stamps is that you can mix paints and create an effect right on the stamp before applying it to the project. This allows you create shadows and realism.
When creating the brick effect on a project put the acrylic paints on a mixing surface, a dollop of red, then a little black and mix until you get the right brick color. Then place your foam stamp in the paint lightly, making sure the surface is covered. Then apply it to your project.
Look at how great the effect is on this album. With the use of chipboard bricks on the chimney with the dimension, then using this technique really rocked the brick look overall.
