Hi everyone. It's Bea from the ArtFoamies Design Team. Today we play first with alcohol inks on Yupo Paper and then we use the Artfoamies stamps with Stazon black Ink. I recommend wearing gloves as alcohol inks stains your hands pretty well...
I did start by simply adding drops to the Yupo Paper
Next I used some Isopropyl alcohol (anything between 70 and 90 % works) with a sponge and dabbed randomly to spread the inks.
I did add more alcohol ink drops and then dropped in additional Isopropyl alcohol. This gives another effect already
I also tilted the paper to make the inks run.
I did switch between adding inks and alcohol and dabbing with the cosmetic sponge, tilting the paper until I was happy with the result.
Next I did cut the paper for making cards. Depending on what size of card base you use you have to adapt the size
I then did stamp with Stazon Ink. Make sure that you have a fresh inkpad with enough Stazon Ink in it.
I also added some Gelpen marks, I went along all the images with a black Gel pen and also did add white in some places.
One thing I do most of the time, I also go along the edges with some black markers. It just hides the white borders from cutting the paper and ties everything together.
Yupo Paper or Amsterdam Art pad, both are Polypropylene based papers and are perfect for working with alcohol inks. This technique doesn't work on other papers.
