Hi everyone. It's Bea from the ArtFoamies Design Team. Today I'd like to show you how you can use your stamped imaged as a base for doodling. If you don't know where to start with doodling, this is a fun way.
First I did start with a watercolor Background in my Art Journal. I did use some metallic watercolors, but you can of course use any other watercolors you have. As you can see I made a simple light colored background.
Next I did cover my stamp from RedTinRoof: Mandala Crochet with a blue acrylic paint.
I then did stamp c the patterns several time onto the dry background. I also did stamp of the page, which makes it a bit more interesting.
Now comes the doodling part, I did start with a black Muji pen. It is a gel Ink Ballpoint pen. It glides really easily but you have to be aware that it isn't waterproof.
As you can see I did add outlines to the outer part of the stamp. And no it isn't perfect, but that is part of the charm too. Doodling hasn't to be perfect, it is more about the repetition.
I didn't use only black, as they come in many colors I decided to use them too to fill in more
I did add also some additional swirls and doodles to the background.
Art Journal mine was about 5,5 x 8 inch Watercolor paper 90 lb
