Hi ArtFoamie Fans!!
Lynne Forsythe here with another creation using ArtFoamies.
I received purchased a bit of watercolor paper from Seth Apter. I thought I’d try my hand at a bit of watercoloring with my newly acquired Prima Watercolors. I traced a few flowers on the paper, cut them out and began coloring. How relaxing to watch the water move the color around the paper.
When I was finished with my watercolor beauty I knew I wanted this to go on a card. With that thought, I pulled out Rebekah Meier’s ~ Cross-Grid ArtFoamies Stamp and my new to go to product, White Gesso. I didn’t want a heavy background but something that would make my watercolor flowers POP. I just LOVE the look I achieve when I stamp with White Gesso
I used a brayer to spread the White Gesso onto the Cross Grid stamp.
I then pulled out a Kraft Greeting Card and stamped on the face of the card. JUST PERFECT! Sometimes simple is the BEST solution.
I adhered my watercolor work to the front of the card with Multi Medium and added a sentiment by Yvonne Blair/Impression Obsession.
TIP: If you are not able to wash your stamp immediately, spritz it with water to keep the Gesso from drying onto your ArtFoamies Stamp.
Thank you for stopping by! Hope I have inspired you to pull out your products and CREATE!
