Hi ArtFoamie Fans, Lynne Forsythe. THANK you for stopping by to check out my latest art therapy/creation!
Can i just say LIFE has been a bit challenging of late so, last weekend, I CHOSE to do something for me, so I went junkin’! LOOK at what I scored, a bag with these large spools of Herculon fibers for FREE! I couldn’t wait to play with these fibers.
I pulled out a spool of tan yarn and I wrapped it around a 5” x 7” Art Board. When satisfied, I cut the yarn and taped it to the back of the canvas.
I then liberally applied Multi Medium Matte all over the front of the canvas. As the Multi Medium dried, I pushed the yarn onto to the canvas to make sure it was adhering to the canvas. I then applied various paint and colors, ending with a layer of White Gesso. LOVE the look!!
Now, what to do??!??! I began digging around in my bucket of ArtFoamies and I pulled out Rebekeh Meier’s ~ Script Heart.
I applied Acrylic Paint ~ Eggplant to the ArtFoamies stamp using a brayer and stamped onto a piece of paper from a Farm Book. When dry, I cut out the stamped heart and adhered it to a piece of cardboard for stability.
I then pulled out a set of chipboard wings ~ Winging it and painted them with White Gesso. When they were dry I adhered Tissue stock to be backside with Multi Medium Matte.
I cut off the extra Tissue stock and using a Fude Ball 1.5 outlined the wings and stamped heart.
I then assembled my canvas. I added a bit of cheesecloth behind the heart and finished it off with “just breathe”. Something I have to work hard at right now!
