Hi Everyone, It’s Jeanine here. I have a fossil inspired peace for you today that you can easily frame or make into a card. To start this off, I cut cardstock into the size I desired for a square card. Then I masked the edges of the card front. This will adhere the card to the table or craft matt securely and also act as a barrier border around the edge, making it look really neat and professional. Apply your favourite modelling paste to the inside frame in a medium thick even layer. I used TCW Light and Fluffy modelling paste. While this is wet, stamp into the modelling paste with your art foamies. I used the Sea side collection, which comes with 6 small foamies. https://www.artfoamies.com/store/p324/Sea_Side.html Heat set this or if you have patience (I don’t), let it dry naturally. Next get some colour on the textures. To do this, I used the Ken Oliver Color Bursts and some Nuvo shimmer powder. I also grabbed Distress spray stain and Heidi swapp Color shine spray to create some dept. Once I was happy with the colours, I removed the masking tape by heating it with a heat tool to make sure I don’t rip the paper. Lastly I sprayed the card front with gloss varnish, you can skip this step, but I like to be safe. List of Products used:
I hope you enjoyed this process as much as I did making it. I hope you will give it a try for yourself and explore with different foamies.
