We are so excited to welcome our new design team!
These girls are super talented and creative and we can't wait to share all their projects with you!
Let's get to know them!
I'm a Mixed Media Artist and formerly hand weaver from Switzerland. Color was and is always the reason for me to work, whether with threads, on canvas, with paper and what not. I have passed several Fiber and Art related educations in Zurich, but also commercial school or the latest addition Educations for Educators Level 1.
Since 2003 I run a big art & art craft show with about 50 + artists, first in an old Knight house, since these year in an old armory.
I love to inspire people with my art, through my tutorials on YouTube or in my classes and workshops in my studio.
I am a mixed media paper artist whose passion is teaching and inspiring others through many forms of art. I am known for my vintage, steampunk style as well as paper dresses from 8" tall all the way to full size. I have my own brand, "A Vintage Girl" which was a seven-year journey, I have been in the craft industry for 10 years and have worked for many companies and am proud to be a part of the ArtFoamies team.
Joanna Grant is a Canadian mixed media artist living in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia. For 25 years, she has been creating mixed media and abstract art using recycled materials. She draws inspiration from her love of music, travel and nature, and is known for her fun, funky and colourful art. Joanna is a published artist and a popular instructor, teaching both in-person and online workshops to students worldwide.
My name is Jeanine du Plessis, I live in New Zealand with my husband and my toddler daughter. I am a stay at home mom / YouTube video creator / foodie / aspiring health and fitness enthusiast / lover of all things colourful.
I wouldn’t say that I am a professional or even an artist, I am just someone who finds the time in each day to create art, try out new techniques, something I have seen on YouTube or journal my thoughts. My art style is messy, fun, raw and unapologetic. I like to sometimes just sit in front of a blank page without the faintest idea of what it will become, and just get some paint down. I don’t believe there are any mistakes in art, only lessons to be learned. Inspiring people to create is my main goal! It’s a feeling I chase! I believe art is for everyone, and that skills should be shared. I also believe in art therapy, since experiencing its magic first-hand. I just want to create beautiful art and share it with whoever wants to look.
I started my painting adventure in the mid 80's with learning brushstroke work, tole painting, stenciling and faux finishes. I have a varied background of retail sales and home decorating consulting. I get great pleasure sharing my skills and seeing others get excited about what they have accomplished. I work mostly in acrylics on canvas, fabric and wood, at my home studio, Brushstrokes In Motion, in Clinton, Ontario, Canada. I also enjoy being a paint party Consultant for the Social Artworking program by DecoArt.
Hi EVERYONE!! My name is Lynne Forsythe and I hail from a small town in Northern New Hampshire and have been "creating" since I was a child. I discovered paper crafting about 9 years ago.....and have never looked back! I love trying new things, then sharing them with anyone who will listen. I like to remind people that “It's good to step outside of one’s creative box.” If I were to classify my style, it would be Distress/Texture meets Shabby and ALWAYS has flowers! <3
I've been published in several magazines and currently design for Canvas Corp Brands, UmWowStudio, and Yvonne Blair Designs/Impression Obsession. I have also created numerous video tutorials and have taught extensively across the United States.
We hope you're excited as much as we are!
We're sure you'll love the new design team's projects and inspiration!
